Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a systematic and evidenced based approach to managing dental biofilm. This presentation will review how GBT can easily and efficiently be integrated as an empowering proactive tool for the prevention, and as well for the treatment of biofilm induced and host mediated inflammatory destruction seen in both periodontal and peri-implant diseases. A didactic and clinical review of GBT science and treatment protocols derived from diagnostic parameters, and risk assessment will be covered for both non-surgical and surgical therapy.
