Oral surgery can be one of the most rewarding procedures a dental practitioner can perform. It can also be the most stressful if complications are encountered.
This course will help the general practitioner navigate pre-operative diagnosis, procedures, and possible complications that can be encountered.
- Pre-operative areas such as steroid use, pregnancy, and anti-coagulant use will be covered.
- Complications including bleeding, sinus exposure, and dry sockets will be included.
- Extractions and ridge preservation prior to implant placement and biopsy technique will also be covered.
- Many more areas will be explored using real life examples.
The lecture is given in an open format and questions are encouraged. This course in intended for those who regularly perform oral surgery in their offices and those who would like to do more, but still have questions.
Note: Participants of Dr. Bellamy’s Afternoon Workshop Must Attend The Morning Lecture
