Session Cost: $195 Early Registration
Presenter Name: Dr. Diwakar Kinra
Outline:
Long-term endodontic success is no longer defined solely by obturation quality—it is defined by structural preservation. Smarter Shaping for Stronger Teeth is an immersive, hands-on workshop focused on minimally invasive canal preparation strategies that prioritize dentin conservation without compromising disinfection or efficiency.
Participants will work through a complete clinical workflow—from conservative shaping design to final obturation. Emphasis is placed on preserving dentin, maintaining original canal anatomy, and applying controlled shaping techniques that reduce unnecessary taper and over-enlargement.
Learning Objectives:
- Apply conservative shaping protocols that preserve radicular dentin while maintaining adequate canal geometry for effective disinfection.
- Maintain original canal anatomy during instrumentation, minimizing transportation, over-enlargement, and unnecessary taper.
- Optimize irrigation strategies within minimally prepared canals using activation techniques to enhance chemical debridement.
- Select obturation techniques compatible with conservative preparations to achieve a predictable apical and coronal seal without inducing excessive structural stress.
- Integrate a dentin-conserving shaping philosophy into daily clinical workflow, improving long-term fracture resistance and restorative prognosis.
