Patients often seek simple, quick solutions to complex dental concerns. As comprehensive digital dentists, our role extends beyond treating teeth we help patients understand the relationship between esthetics, function, long-term stability, and oral health. This lecture explores how digital tools can transform diagnosis, communication, and treatment acceptance by making the invisible visible.
Through real-world cases, participants will learn how to use facially driven treatment planning and digital visualization to educate patients, align expectations, and guide them from requesting a quick fix to embracing comprehensive interdisciplinary care. From initial consultation to final outcome, discover how digital workflows enhance communication, strengthen trust, and improve acceptance of orthodontic-surgical-restorative treatment plans.

Bio (English):
Dr. Lovedeep K. Randhawa, BDS, DMD is an internationally recognized leader in digital dentistry, an Align Technologies Key Opinion Leader and Speaker, and a passionate advocate for comprehensive, patient-centered care. A graduate of the UBC Faculty of Dentistry (2004) and top of her class at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Dr. Randhawa is known for combining clinical excellence with cutting-edge technology.
A Platinum Invisalign® Provider, Dr. Randhawa has treated approximately 900 Invisalign patients, with multiple cases published in the Invisalign Case Gallery. She has been extensively involved in multiple Local Market Research (LMRs) initiatives and has worked closely with Align Technologies on the clinical application and advancement of the Align Oral Health Suite, authoring a white paper on the subject. She has also been invited to speak at the past three Invisalign® GP Summits, sharing her expertise with peers across the profession.
Dr. Randhawa is highly skilled in advanced digital treatment planning, with deep expertise in Invisalign Smile Architect and the iTero™ Design Suite. Her fully integrated digital workflows include in-office milling and in-office 3D printing. She seamlessly integrates orthodontic, restorative, and surgical planning, allowing teeth to be positioned optimally first for minimally invasive, predictable, and long-term outcomes.
She is a mentor in the UBC Dental Mentorship Program and a former part-time faculty member at the University of British Columbia and CDI College. Dr. Randhawa is Spear Education–trained and is currently completing the Kois Curriculum. She is a Founding Board Member and Provincial Leader for Women in Digital Dentistry and was among the first dentists in Canada to adopt chairside CAD/CAM technology with Glidewell.io.
A six-time RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award nominee, dynamic international speaker, and dedicated mother of two, Dr. Randhawa is deeply committed to philanthropy and community impact, actively supporting the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and numerous public health initiatives. Her mission is to educate, empower, and help patients discover the transformative power of a healthy, confident smile.
