Outline:

This course is a combination of instruction, demonstration, and hands-on (pig-jaw) workshop.? Participants will learn basic principles of bone augmentation surgery (in conjunction with extractions) for private practice.? Indications, considerations, and surgical principles will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will learn principles of patient evaluation, clinical, and diagnostic considerations for ridge augmentation of extraction socket defects.
- Participants will learn surgical and anatomic principles for ridge preservation surgery.
- Participants will be able to practice and develop hands-on skills to gain experience in performing ridge preservation flap surgery associated with an extraction site.

About The Speaker
Dr. Kevin R. Suzuki graduated with his D.M.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He completed his residency in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and Masters of Science at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Suzuki is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute. He also lectures and serves as a faculty instructor for the Institute of Dental Advancement (Dallas, TX) and the Resnik Implant Institute. Dr. Suzuki holds faculty positions at Temple University Graduate Periodontics and University of Washington School of Dentistry. He currently practices Periodontology and Oral Implantology in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Suzuki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is past president of the Washington State Society of Periodontists and Washington representative of the Western Society of Periodontology. Dr. Suzuki is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists Honor societies. He is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Suzuki has lectured for Local, State, and National Meetings since 2010.
