Ms. Lucy Pavao, RDH

Biography 

Ms. Lucy Pavao, RDH – has been a registered dental hygiensit since 2000, Lucy graduated from Niagara College and completed her Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Promotion in 2020. She has worked for over 16 years in a variety of practice settings, including general, periodontal, prosthodontic, and sedation practices. Lucy also taught in dental hygiene colleges for a few years and enjoyed mentoring the next generation of dental hygienists. A volunteer for over 10 years with the Executive Committee of a local dental hygiene society, Lucy’s commitment and passion for oral healthcare is evident. She is only the second Canadian to be a Certified Curaprox iTOP Teacher, has presented on a variety of topics nationally, and has led a webinar for the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association as well various webinars for Oral Science. Lucy is currently the Educational Program Leader for Oral Science and supports Toronto area schools, hospitals, and dental offices.
