Since 1982, BC dentists and selected UBC dental students have participated in this mutually beneficial program which has been approved by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. The Summer Student program provides incoming fourth-year dental students with an opportunity to be part of the day-to-day operation of a dental practice and it is open to students who have successfully completed their third year of DMD studies. The UBC Faculty of Dentistry, is pleased to announce, Dr. Ingrid Emanuels has been appointed the Faculty Liaison for this important and invaluable program.
