Simple Implants: Tips and Tricks for Monday Morning

Is implant dentistry something you want to make a routine part of your practice?
Do you feel more comfortable restoring to teeth than implants?
This lecture will aim to build your confidence making simple implant cases routine in your practice. Dr. Birdi will highlight tips, tricks and techniques specialists use to replace posterior teeth with dental implants. From treatment planning esthetics and stability prior to surgery, to selection of restorative materials, and the specific requirements to provide routine consistent treatment will be discussed in detail. James will discuss various material options available for simple posterior prosthetics. The business model regarding single-tooth posterior implant options will also be illustrated in this presentation.

James Neuber, RDT , Cosmetic Ceramist, at Southern Illinois University James Neuber held four consecutive Dean’s List Honor designations in Dental Technology. Further dental education has been mentored by: Dr.’s… Jim Beck, Jim Carlson, and Greg Lutke, and Master Technicians Steven McGowan , Ed Harms Sr., Ed Harms Jr, and Axel Pomeranz. It is without question that James Neuber feels these individuals deserve his acknowledgement for their commitment to the profession of dentistry, and his personal development as a Master Ceramist in Full Mouth Reconstruction and Cosmetics over the last 20 years.
James teaches Smile Makeover™ with Dr. Steven Hill of Vancouver, BC : a live-patient program teaching technical and clinical foundations for predictable cosmetic success. He is a Sustaining member of the AACD, Founding Member of the CACD and works daily as a cosmetic ceramist at Ocean Ceramics with his brother David.
James consults with dentists and patients creating Full Mouth Reconstructions and Smile Makeovers treatments !!! His private passions are family time, evangelism, and alpine snowmobiling.
Dr. Bobby Birdi is one of the very few board certified dual specialists in periodontics and prosthodontics in North America. He received his dental degree from the University of Saskatchewan and his post-graduate specialty training in both periodontics and prosthodontics from the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow and Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Birdi is also a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Team for Implantology. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral Implantology, Clinical Advances in Periodontics, and the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI), to which he has been appointed to the Editorial Review Board.
Dr. Birdi is an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and the University of Minnesota, where he is involved in multiple dental implant research projects and clinical trials. Dr. Birdi also actively lectures both nationally and internationally in the fields of implant surgery and prosthetics, as well as esthetic dentistry. He is currently practicing in Vancouver and Edmonton. His practice focuses on comprehensive periodontal and prosthodontic treatment with a major focus on esthetics and implant dentistry.
