Saturday October 26, 2019 – 8:30am to 10:30pm
This 2-hour session is intended for clinicians wanting a fundamental understanding of the official proceedings from the 2017 World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases and Conditions, co-presented by the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).
The result of the AAP and EFP gathering resulted in a redesigned disease classification framework that guides comprehensively centred, patient care plans. This session will present an overview of this landmark gathering and guide the clinician in creating a periodontal diagnostic statement.
